OMAA is pleased to partner with the #1 business school in the country, the Schulich School of Business at York University, to offer an exciting new CAO Leadership Program.

This five-day program offers sought-after leadership skills in areas like political acuity, digital transformation, and data analysis to thrive in your role or move up the career ladder. The program is hosted in a convenient choice model of virtual or in-person and featuring top-rated Schlich instructors with guest appearances from practising CAOs.

This program is ideal for CAOs and Aspiring CAOs in municipalities of all tiers and sizes across Ontario. Professional managers and key decision makers will gain the vital leadership skills, strategies, and methods needed to better support elected officials and effectively implement Council policies, levelling up to more senior roles. 

After completing the CAO Leadership Program, you'll receive an authentic digital badge from the #1 business school in Canada that employers will recognize. Upon completion of additional programming through Schulich ExecEd, you will be eligible to receive a Master's Certificate in Municipal Leadership.

• Module 1: Transformational Leadership: Thursday April 4^th – 9-4 online via Zoom
• Module 2 : Culture Shaping Leader: Thursday April 11^th – 9-4 online via Zoom
• Module 3 : Digital Figures: Tuesday May 14^th – in-person at White Oaks Resort and Spa Niagara-on-the-Lake (day before OMAA Spring Workshop)  
• Module 4 : Political Acuity: Thursday May 30^th – 9-4 online via zoom
• Module 5 : Decisions Data and Solutions: Thursday June 6^th –  9-4 in-person at Miles S. Nadal Centre at 222 Bay Street, Suite 500, Toronto

Pricing
The OMAA Board has generously offered to support the initial offering of this program by providing a $1000 subsidy to the first 16 members to register  Register today to take advantage of this special offer.

• Member with OMAA $1000 subsidy $3500 + hst (16 available slots)
• Member $4500 + hst
• Non-Member $4700 + hst

The program will be subject to the following cancellation / postponement obligation with respect to the receipt of written notice:
• Before 30 days or more prior to delivery, no cancellation fee. 
• Within 29-16 days prior to delivery, 50% of the fee.
• Within 15 days or less prior to delivery, 100% of the fee. A program may be postposed based upon availability.
