Maureen McCauley Bursary Application
OMAA established a Bursary program in 2015, renamed in honour of former Executive Director Maureen McCauley in 2023. Thanks to our partnership with AMO and ROMA, the Maureen McCauley Bursary now offers three $5,000 awards annually to support the education of future municipal government leaders in Ontario: - One (1) undergraduate student - One (1) graduate student - One (1) undergraduate or graduate student who is from a rural or small-town community or whose studies demonstrate a clear commitment to advancing rural municipal leadership, local governance, or rural economic development. To be eligible, applicants must: - Be a current student residing in Ontario - Submit a completed application form along with all required supporting materials The Awards Committee will assess all submissions under approved evaluation criteria. Successful candidates will be notified in October.
