Huron East CAO Brad McRoberts has asked:

"We have a building in our downtown that has been vacant for several years and there has been lots of rumour or unsubstantiated claims that the building itself is in a very deteriorated condition on the inside, however we cannot obtain voluntary access to the interior to confirm this. Does anyone have any suggestions for a municipality to gain access into the building when owner is uncooperative and we do not have any substantiated evidence to justify entry by our CBO or Fire Prevention Officer."

Anyone with advice please contact Brad McRoberts at (519) 527-0160 Ext 27 or cao@huroneast.com

Skipperisms

I was chewing on Ray Dalio's Principles the other day -- and I highly recommend it. For example, check out this exerpt from Work Principle 1.2 Have integrity and demand it from others.

Aligning what you say with what you think and what you think with what you feel will make you much happier and mush more successful. Thinking solely about what's accurate instead of how it is perceived pushes you to focus on on the most important things. It helps you sort thought people and places because you'll be drawn to people and places that are open and honest. It's also fairer to those around you: making judgements about people so that they are tried and sentenced in your head, without asking for their perspective, is both unethical and unproductive. Having nothing to hide relieves stress and builds trust.
